Meet the Weir's Dojang Team
Gregory Weir - 3rd Dan
Chief Instructor
Mr. Weir dabbled in several martial arts over his early years including Shotokan Karate, Kempo, and Chung Moo Do until he found his calling in Hapkido.
Mr. Weir started his Hapkido journey in 2006 under Master Daniel Marlborough. He worked his way up through the ranks at Master Marlborough’s school and started to assist in teaching during his time there.

He received his 1st Dan Black belt in 2012, 2nd Dan in 2016. In 2019 he was promoted to the rank of 3rd Dan by Master Marlborough.

In 2015 Master Marlborough closed his school and Mr. Weir opened Weir’s Dojang to continue teaching his students and new ones. Today he runs all the classes with the help of Instructor Budd.

Through his association with his dojangs and instructors, Mr. Weir has had the opportunity and privilege to attend several seminars, where he has met and trained with world renowned masters of the martial arts.
Mike Budd - 2nd Dan
Instructor
Mr. Budd began his martial arts training with Chidokwan Karate do and Tae Kwon do during his college years. After a long martial arts hiatus, he began training in earnest at TMI Self-Defense in Medway Massachusetts in January of 2003.
In 2009, Mr. Budd was awarded his black belt in Hapkido under Master Instructor Daniel Marlborough, and instructors John Paul MacNeil.
In October of 2018, Mr. Budd was recognized with his second Dan in Hapkido under Master Marlborough and Instructors John Paul MacNeil and Gregory Weir.
Through his association with his dojangs and instructors, Mr. Budd has had the opportunity and privilege to attend several seminars, where he has met and trained with world renowned masters of the martial arts.
